Born and raised in Southern California, Ken attended the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and is currently living and creating in Pleasanton, Ca. with his dog Jacques and his cat Paolo.

Large scale, site specific sculpture became Ken’s passion soon after college and remains so to this day. Bright colors and dramatic textures have always been a pivotal aspect of his work, which is exponentially inspired by the purity of childhood. This inspiration, combined with working in children’s art galleries, has led him to write and illustrate a children’s book which he is currently engrossed in creating.

Formally trained in Printmaking and Sculpture, but unsatisfied with traditional artistic ideas. Ken strives to create images with depth and dimension, which extend beyond the conventional frame by combining steel, stone, paint, light and shadows in a whimsical yet complex manner.
